Featuring a rare blue lobster the image really stands out from the background and the vibrancy of the colours make this piece an instant Heavy Web classic.<\/p><p>Designing the original artwork was tricky, the pencil sketch was drawn using several pictures as inspiration and I initially found it difficult to master the composition of the body and the scale of the claws. There were lots of drafts until I was finally happy, but once I was I knew this piece was going to be a good one.<\/p><p>When the pencil sketch was completed and I had converted the image into a digital outline, finding the right mix of colours and tones was also tricky. I wanted the design to have a semblance of realism, but I also wanted to exaggerate the vibrancy of the blues and greens, and also add a little artistic license to accentuate the image with a hot pink hue. In the end the design took over a week to come together, but I am so pleased that I persevered.<\/p><p>I think it's also worth saying that I was inspired to draw this design when I came across an article about a fisherman off the coast of jersey who found one of these colourful crustaceans in one of his pots, it's a pretty rare phenomenon (it's said to be a two and a half million to one chance of landing one of these mystifying creatures).<\/p><p>This high-resolution, crystal clear, one of a kind print will be sure to make you standout from the crowd, and our super soft organic cotton will make sure you feel great every time you wear it.<\/p><p><span>\ud83c\udd77\ud83c\udd86<\/span><\/p><p><strong>The good stuff:<\/strong> When it gets toward the end of its lifetime, you can send it back to us to be recycled and we'll give you store credit.<\/p><p><strong>Free UK shipping available on all orders over \u00a350.
